Biography
Jack Shakin is a Doctoral Clinical Intern at Vendetti Wellness Group.
Jack is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at William James College after earning a bachelor’s in psychology at Boston College. Jack has experience working with children and families in clinical, community, and in-home settings. He has experience working with children and their family system as an in-home therapy clinician and therapeutic mentor at Children’s Friends and Family Services in Lynn, Ma. Jack is passionate about supporting clients and families with strengthening their self-advocacy skills and providing effective support to the youth client.
Jack has experience working with individuals who present with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, eating disorders, substance use, ADHD, and PTSD. Jack looks forward to continuing to provide mental health support as an intern at VWG.
