Biography
Heather is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at Vendetti Wellness Group and received her MA in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine in 2022. Heather has experience working with anxiety, depression, mood, and trauma-related disorders, as well as with LGBTQ+ and gender diverse folks. She received gender specialist training alongside medical providers to learn and promote best practices in gender-affirming care and letter writing, guided by WPATH Standards of Care. Heather believes in utilizing a holistic approach to best meet client needs based on their individual journeys and seeks to foster a non-judgmental, explorative space to empower clients to make changes in their lives.
