Biography

Life’s most difficult moments — whether shaped by stress, loss, trauma, or unexpected change — can leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, or uncertain of ourselves. My goal as a therapist is to offer a compassionate and thoughtful space where you can explore those experiences and develop greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding. My approach is grounded in relational psychology and the science of emotional health. With a background in biology and a strong interest in neuroscience, I focus specifically on how our experiences, relationships, and nervous systems shape the way we feel and function. I integrate this perspective with a person-centered, collaborative approach — working with you at your own pace, in a way that fits your life. With nearly seven years of experience in mental health care, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of clinical settings — including community mental health, in-home therapy with families, and clinical training at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital. I also hold a Post-Graduate Certificate in Addiction Studies, which informs my work with clients navigating substance use, codependency, and dual-diagnosis concerns. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, identity development, relationship challenges, and emotional regulation. I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents, college and graduate students, and adults seeking greater insight, emotional balance, and connection to their strengths.
