Amy Schully is a licensed social worker (LCSW) at Vendetti Wellness Group. She has over 9 years of experience as a social worker/mental health counselor, as well as certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support Institute (PSI). She is currently in-training to become a registered horticultural therapist (HTR) with the American Horticultural Therapy Association. She has training in and experience using a variety of evidence-based therapy modalities, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and other mindfulness and somatic practices. Amy's main goal as a clinician is to work with you to foster a safe and authentic space for the exploration and expression of your emotions. Her approach is trauma-informed; she emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship, along with collaborative treatment planning that emphasizes self-efficacy and autonomy. Amy encourages you to approach therapy as a time to build coping skills, process wounds, and begin to bring back feelings of empowerment, acceptance, validation, and peace into your life. Her hope is that you begin to feel a greater sense of control over your life, and she asks that you stay open and curious throughout this process.
