Samantha Deglaoui, PMHNP-BC
Samantha is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions’ Direct-Entry program. Samantha received her nursing and advanced nursing training in a variety of settings in the Boston area, including MGH and McLean Hospital. Samantha also has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rivier University. Samantha is a member of Psy Chi and MAAPPN, and has been a leader in many organizations in the past, including the Mental Health Club at MGHIHP, in which she created.
Samantha has been working in the mental health field for over 10 years in a variety of settings, such as in home, outpatient, and inpatient. Samantha’s focus is mostly with children, adolescents, and families. She specializes in those with anxiety disorders, depressive and mood disorders, trauma, substance use, developmental disabilities, ADHD, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Samantha uses a supportive and strength-based approach to provide medication management and mental health education to children, adolescents, and families.
Samantha enjoys being outdoors in nature, hiking, going to the beach, traveling, reading, music and dance, and spending time with friends and family.
Helping others achieve stability and success in their own lives will always be Samantha’s goal.
