Julie DiCicco, LICSW
Julie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over a decade of experience. Julie enjoys working with adolescents and adults in all phases of life. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston University in 2011. Julie has worked primarily in the field of Substance Abuse, including Inpatient Detox, Rehabilitation, Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient/Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) counseling services. She has also spent time working with hospice patients, their families and providing in home and outpatient bereavement counseling.
Julie prides herself on her genuine and authentic nature in connecting with clients. She understands how hard it can be to take the first step of sharing with a stranger and is eager to make people feel safe while being heard. Using a client-centered, strength based and tailored approach to meet the needs of the individual, Julie hopes to collaborate with those seeking help with substance use, anxiety, mood disorders, stress management, difficulty in relationships, self-esteem concerns, difficulty with boundary setting, bereavement concerns, PTSD, trauma and LGBTQ concerns.
In Julie’s spare time she enjoys the outdoors with her wife and their two adorable dogs. Julie has been known to give entertaining karaoke performances and loves music of many varieties.
