Jessica Werner, LMHC
Jessica Werner, LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor, earning her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Lesley University. Jessica provides individualized treatment to meet each client’s unique needs. Jessica utilizes a collaborative and strength- based approach to help empower clients on their journeys of wellness and healing. Jessica’s approach to therapy is flexible and draws on a broad range of different therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person- centered therapy, narrative therapy, psychodynamic, motivational interviewing, expressive therapy, and mindfulness. She works with clients to explore the “roots” of challenges as well as to identify specific skills and techniques to use in the here and now.
Jessica has a particular interest in working with maternal mental health (both perinatal and postpartum support) as well as treating anxiety and sleep disorders. In addition, Jessica has experience working with a range of ages from childhood into later years of life. Jessica has previously worked in a school- base setting, outpatient clinic, and integrative primary care providing counseling around a variety of areas, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, postpartum depression, ADHD, trauma, autism spectrum disorder, insomnia, gender identity, caregivers fatigue, grief, and coping with medical illnesses.
Jessica acknowledges the courage it often takes start the counseling process. With this in mind, she creates a safe and compassionate space while working with clients to promote connection, exploration, healing, and growth.
