Erin Bell, M.Ed., LMHC



Erin has earned her Masters of Education degree with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State College.  She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and has been working as a psychotherapist for over a decade.  She has advanced training in trauma and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  She has a broad range of professional experience in a variety of settings including inpatient hospitals, residential programs, crisis centers, community mental health centers, home & school based programs, and private practice settings.


She continues to provide individual psychotherapy for people managing issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, learning disabilities, self-esteem, grief and loss, sexuality, interpersonal conflict, stress management, significant life events/transitions, learning disabilities, self-harming behaviors, emotional and behavioral disregulation/disorders, a wide array of adolescent-focused issues and/or general life struggles.  


She incorporates evidence-based therapeutic approaches with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness strategies, Trauma Focused techniques (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT) and Existential modalities. She is also a member of the American Counseling Association(ACA) and EMDR International Association(EMDRIA).

Erin's approach is client-centered and relational, drawing on one’s strengths to help encourage healing and change.  Her therapeutic style combines warmth, compassion, humor, and creativity. Erin provides psychotherapy to help you cope with a variety of issues and better understand yourself. She believes that having a solid therapeutic relationship will help enhance individuals ability to better themselves, heal, grow, and lead more productive and fulfilling lives.
