Additionally, Emily has supported adolescents to work through a variety of presenting issues, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, attention disorders, low self-esteem, interpersonal issues, and behavioral dysregulation.

Emily's approach to therapy is strengths-based, holistic, and client-driven. Emily believes that each person has their own goals related to wellness that look different for each person, and that each person has inherent goodness to help them reach those goals. Emily's work in therapy strives to empower each client to use their inherent strengths while learning new skills to overcome life's barriers to wellness that we all encounter. Emily primarily uses techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), The ARC Framework (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS). Emily also has an expertise in facilitating group therapy, recognizing that often, a safe and understanding community is a powerful path to healing. Through the diverse populations and presentations Emily serves, her approach is always rooted in a safe therapeutic rapport and non-judgmental listening.
