Courtney Meek, LMHC



Courtney is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with a degree in Art Therapy from Albertus Magnus College. Since 2013 she has worked with people of all ages in various settings in the mental health field including inpatient, day treatment programs, community-based support services, and outpatient programs. Courtney incorporates a variety of theoretical approaches and evidenced-based practices including, but not limited to: Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. She has supported people managing issues related to anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, trauma, and substance use or addiction among other issues, including day-to-day struggles and stresses.

Courtney’s approach to therapy is person-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based, supporting people in building upon the skills and strengths they may already have to navigate and address the issues they are facing. She values building strong therapeutic relationships and incorporating empathy, humor, and creative approaches into the therapeutic process.
