Carrie Smith, MSW, LICSW
Carrie is a licensed independent Clinical Social worker with over 10 years experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Carrie received her Master's degree in Social Work at Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island. Carrie has worked in a variety of clinical settings including residential treatment facilities, schools and community mental health agencies. Carrie's approach to therapy is to embrace a client's strengths by supporting a client to discover new directions and solutions. Carrie also utilizes a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy and Psycho-education.
Carrie's experience includes providing therapy for clients dealing with ADHD, mood disorders, learning disabilities, trauma, and emotional and behavioral issues. Carrie wants to help clients explore ways to make changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope.
